“Charlotte Ostermann is a real natural when it comes to speaking! Like it comes so spontaneously for the majority of us to breathe, so it is for her with regards to expressing herself and conveying her thoughts to others! It is more then a pleasure to listen to her: it is like assisting at a concert of classical music. You never want it to end! I along with my sisters of the community of the Apostles of the Interior Life have had ample opportunities to participate in events where Mrs. Ostermann was speaking. What we heard ALWAYS left us with our mouths open! We were in awe and spellbound! If you are looking for a speaker, she is your gal! May she bless your event, your retreat, your lives with her presence!”
– Sister Susan Pieper, Director, Apostles of the Interior Life
Our parish was blessed to have Charlotte Ostermann speak to us as part of a Lenten day of recollection. Charlotte spoke to us about honoring Sunday as a day of rest. Her talk was dynamic, heartfelt, packed with great content, and faithfully Catholic. Charlotte’s passion is contagious. Any parish or Catholic gathering would benefit from hearing her speak.

“Listening to Charlotte Ostermann relate her experiences as a writer and then publisher of her book, Souls at Rest, was an inspiration. Her energy, enthusiasm and willingness to share the ups and downs of her endeavors provided an intriguing and informative program for our Topeka Branch of National League of American Pen Women. Proving that perseverance pays off, Charlotte provided each of us with new insights on making our own projects a reality. We were so impressed that we promptly invited our speaker to join our organization!”
– Barbara Waterman-Peters, President Topeka Branch, National League of American Pen Women
In bringing her poetry workshop to Wichita, Kan., Charlotte Ostermann gifted participants beyond measure. Not only did she impart incredible wisdom and knowledge regarding the craft of poetry, but she was an awesome guide for those walking the path of becoming a truly expressive human being.
As founder of Storytellers of the Great Plains -- a regional networking group for writers of all genres that sponsored the workshop -- I am grateful to have such an excellent resource in Charlotte to call upon to grow our individual and collective gifts.
Any individual or group that engages Charlotte will receive a gift that keeps on giving on the journey of becoming a Christian writer: one who learns how to uncover the good, the true and the beautiful and to recognize God's grace operating in and through all of life's experiences.

“I’m delighted to recommend Charlotte Ostermann as a speaker for your next event. Twice, Charlotte has spoken at day-long events I’ve hosted for a women’s retreat I plan annually for a diverse group of Christians from a variety of denominations and backgrounds. In 18 years of planning retreats, Charlotte is the only speaker I’ve invited for a second year. She brought sparkle, depth, humor and rich, new understanding to conversations on holy leisure and growing in the interior life. She walked our group through a difficult C. S. Lewis book and helped those who had never opened the book, as well as those who had studied it carefully, come away with practical and soul satisfying new perspectives. Charlotte is a woman of intensity and intellect and her talks definitely challenge her audiences. She is well worth the challenge, however, because Charlotte brims over with wisdom and faith that rings true, relevant and accessible.”

“The Women of St. Ignatius at Fort Leavenworth, KS have had the pleasure of having Charlotte as a speaker on two different occasions…. We highly recommend her….In a very unique, loving, and fun-filled way, Charlotte took us on a journey…. Her zest for life and beautiful personality puts everyone at ease quickly. ” Heather L. Nava, Vice President, Women of St. Ignatius
“Charlotte Ostermann is such an inspiring speaker. I have had the opportunity to attend many talks given by Charlotte and what I hear over and over from the women she addresses, is ‘Charlotte is so real.’ She uses her incredible sense of humor to bring you to a new understanding of yourself. She says the things you may be thinking but would never admit to thinking. She doesn’t hold back and give a little of herself but opens herself up and lets you in. She brings a depth and wisdom to her speaking and you leave feeling inspired, uplifted and loved.”

We enjoyed having Charlotte join us for our women’s retreat and sharing her insights on the Eucharistic Sabbath. As women, we frequently need to be reminded that God intends for us to rest in Him, and this great message was just what we needed. I’d love to invite her back for a workshop so that we can dig deeper into this topic. We had so much positive feedback on the day. Her love for Our Lord, and her joy in sharing her faith are so evident and contagious. Our Church (and our parish) needs to see that JOY in evangelization and catechesis.
